This quote holds so much value to me. As engineers, we have a direct impact on creating the technology that makes the world a better place. Initially, I chose this major with the hopes of practicing clincal medicine, yet it wasn't until I took a intro level programming course where I realized that my passion lies in the field of computer science. At that point, I began considering career options that would challenge my analytical and problem solving skills and combine a passion for medicine and computer science. After a few internships in different sectors, I discovered that a career involving data science was the right fit for me. This summer I am interning with GlaxoSmithKline as a Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics Modeler, primarily working with Python data wrangling. I created this website to help further develop my web development skills, as well as demonstrate some of the projects that I have completed over the past few years.
